SAT rescinds SEBI order barring Morepen Lab from trading in securities


Morepen Laboratories announced that the Hon’ble Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) by an order dated April 15, 2021 (hosted on the SAT’s website on April 24, 2021), rescinded and rescinded the order dated September 24, 2019 adopted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) whereby the SEBI had prohibited the company from buying, selling or dealing in securities and from accessing the securities markets for one year from the date of the SEBI ordinance.

It can be mentioned that the SEBI order concerns a GDR issued by the company in 2003.
